A preschool is attached to the International Kindergarten. Children can enjoy various activities according to their interests. They learn to do things while interacting with one another and build their social skills.

Children are exposed to English. A native English teacher will read picture books, play games and sing songs with the children. Not only will the children experience listening to natural English, but they will also be able to learn and deepen their understanding of different cultures. This experience will serve as a foundation in their future English studies. The YMCA International Kindergarten-Preschool will open young minds and hearts to the world

The school aims to provide a well-balanced and comprehensive curriculum. More details about the curriculum (which uses Zoo Phonics) at their homepage.

  1. Dear Teachers,

Hello, my name is Kevin Stein. I am an English teacher in Osaka and a parent of a 1 and a half year old.

About a year ago, some friends and I noticed that there were few real life, simple English videos for children. So we decided to make our own. There are currently 6 videos and you can watch them on YouTube. They all have a simple English games as well as songs. They are for parents to watch with their children and learn some simple words and games to play in English.

If you have the time you might take a peek at the videos. They are on line at Youtube at:

My friends and I are not trying to sell anything. We simply want to create usefull materials for parents and children. If you have any suggestions or requests, please let me know.

I hope you enjoy the videos.

    Thanks for your time.

    Sincerely

    Kevin Stein
