  1. Hello,

My name is Ramona Olalau and I’m an English teacher for seven (7) years now and I would be interested in teaching English in Tokyo.
I work as an English teacher at a Turkish-Romanian Language Center in Bucharest, Romania and before that as a University Teaching Assistant, but my experience is with younger students as well (kindergarten, elementary & high school, university and language center), and I’m also an English translator authorized by Ministry of Justice, Bucharest.
I have been studying English since I was eight (8) years old. I attended the Faculty of Letters -English profile, of course-, two (2) Master Degrees and a PhD, and also Cambridge courses like FCE, CAE, IELTS and BEC.
All my studies are in Philology so I do have a Teaching Certificate. I can also speak more languages:
Romanian – native English -advanced Turkish & Spanish – intermediate
    Italian – pre-intermediate
    French – elementary
    Greek & German – beginner
What is more, I worked abroad in different places, so I’m used to different teaching systems and to foreign students and I must say that it was a great experience; the students joined my classes and I enjoyed teaching them.
I hope to get the opportunity to work with you!

    Thank you
    Ramona Olalau,
    English teacher
