St.Alban’s Nursery Programme for children aged 2 to 5 was founded in 1978. The Nursery Programme is nondenominational and children from all religious backgrounds are welcomed.
Its aim is to provide purposeful and stimulating early childhood activities, to enhance each child’s growth and development.The programme offers an extensive range of materials and activities based on the well-established principles of the Montessori method.
The first steps of reading, writing, number work and nature are introduced in a simple, creative and enjoyable way. Daily emphasis is placed on the creative arts; there are many opportunities for children to enjoy singing, dancing, storytelling, simple drama and artwork.
