Notes on Japanese school notetaking methods and memory techniques

The Family magazine 2010 June Issue featured just a few of the note-taking or memory techniques that are taught in schools in Japan, see below. From junior high school grade 1 onwards, points on how subject notebooks are kept are given by teachers for each subject and usually count for a small percentage of the subject’s total grades in the school term report card.
