The WORLD International Preschool (The WORLD) is an English-Japanese bilingual pre-school for children aged 1 to 5, situated on a historical campus in Matsumoto-shi, Nagano-ken, Japan serving families in the Matsumoto region and surrounding communities.
With a great capacity in 6 classes with a good-size playroom, the school is open from 7:30 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday. The preschool offers both English and Japanese bilingual programs. The school opens at 7:30. Children are exposed to English activities from 8 am to 4 pm, after which, is run the program in Japanese. The elements of “The 6 areas of learning” are covered in each of the activities throughout the day’s program. The orange coloured activities indicate the main focus as they work on KUW (Knowledge and Understanding of the WORLD), where children work on projects in a large group, a small group or individually. *Gym: Water play in the pool, foundations of swimming, dance, gymnastics, etc (depending on the class) at a gym.
