Power reading recommendations at

These power reading recommendations came from Bill Moyer’s blog. It was sent in by one of our edn-in-jpn@yahoogroups.com members, who suggested that they would make excellent reading for any high schooler headed for a course in political studies at college. I agree they are such good choices (source) and to post them here.

Bill Moyer’s journal page also had lesson plans for educators of highschoolers:
Check out the lesson plans for “Buying the War” here: The Role of Journalists  See URL link.

Also see lesson plan herefor “Revisiting Rachel Carson” profiled here an inspiring writer for naturalists and environmentalists.

Other high school lesson plans one might be interested in looking at are  BILL MOYERS ON FAITH & REASON and MOYERS ON AMERICA, “Capitol Crimes,” “Is God Green?” at “The Net and Risk.”
