Causes of suicides for young people

Suicides among people in the less than 24 years old category in Japan is said to be “exceedingly low by international standards”…the rate of suicides of males in the age group in America is almost twice the Japanese level.

According to the 198 “Police White Paper” the commonest causes of suicides in the under-19 age group are: “school problems” such as lack of success at study and not getting on with schoolmates, and “family problems” such as bad relationships with parents and siblings, and scolding from parents.
