At Shikahama English Adventures in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, which opened in 2001, bilingual lessons are taught by a pair of instructors–one a native English speaker, the other, a Japanese nursery school teacher. Japanese teachers are Japanese but they speak fluent English and only use Japanese with the children when there is an emergency etc.

  1. Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am Ryoko Adachi, a graduate of University of Santo Tomas with the degree of BS Education major in Preschool. I am interested in applying for a teaching position in your school. I am very willing to be scheduled for an interview.

For the past two years, I have worked diligently as a preschool teacher at Kinderfield Learning Center. This position enabled me to provide these students with a “head start” in mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your school district. Thank you so much for considering my application.

    Sincerely,

    Ryoko Adachi
