The school’s goals are to get the students proficient enough to get entry into British schools using their Diplomax (elementary through middle school graders) and Diplomax Jr. (preschool-elementary 2nd graders) program course materials. They offer IELTS testing prep support. Their immersion program does not only teach English, but also math and science.

These students speak a second language, often as well as, or better than, their primary language.” Another teacher says, “At Effects school students come with a good background in English language ability (according to their grade level). As a teacher, my job is to help the students to continue to improve their reading, comprehension and speaking ability. It is important in any language to be able to express oneself and to read and understand a variety of information. During the class the students complete the textbook materials. But more importantly students discuss their ideas, ask questions and share their opinions about the topics. Teaching means encouraging students to think by themselves. I try to get students interested in what they are learning by relating the information to their own lives and how they are affected. I find that students are quite enjoying their classes at Effects School.”
8-10 persons per class. 60-90 minute classes twice a week are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They also operate as a Cambridge ESOL examination centre.
